Created by Shawn, Marlon and Keenan Ivory Wayans, Wayans Family Presents: A Boo Crew Christmas is an openhearted, multicultural celebration of generosity and the spirit of giving, set to a bouncy hip hop soundtrack. The DVD, which includes an exclusive music video showcasing the talents of Money the Dog, will sell for $14.96 SRP.

Wayans Family Presents: A Boo Crew Christmas is an exuberant holiday treat that encourages kids to enjoy the holidays by opening up their hearts. This animated adventure, which premiered on the Nickelodeon and Nicktoons networks as “Thugaboo: A Miracle on D-Roc's Street”, features the voices of Shawn and Marlon Wayans (White Chicks, Scary Movie, “In Living Color”), Charlie Murphy (“Chappelle’s Show”), Countess Vaughn (Moesha), David Alan Grier (Boomerang, “In Living Color”) and Kim Whitley (The Salon, Next Friday).

According to producer Shawn Wayans, he and his brothers—who are now all fathers—were inspired to create the Boo Crew series by their own children. “We wanted them to be able to watch something that is really entertaining, educational and multicultural at the same time,” says Wayans. “The Boo Crew represents ordinary kids around the world – Hispanic, White, Black, Asian, all together. That’s the way we grew up.

When D-Roc, Dee Dee, DJ and the rest of the Boo Crew kids discover that Gavin and his parents cannot afford to celebrate Christmas this year, they pull out all the stops to make sure that this is one Yuletide the family will never forget. By giving up the one thing he really wants—an impossible-to-find G-Bot action figure—D-Roc learns that giving can have far greater rewards than receiving. A classic story of Christmas spirit, filled with laughter, joy and holiday cheer, Wayans Family Presents: A Boo Crew Christmas is sure to be an perennial family favorite.
